Overview
Access93 has been supporting a growing number of corporate clients with a new way to manage CPD compliance and mandatory training attendance using RFID technology to streamline and secure the entire process.
At recent conferences and training days, we deployed a contactless RFID solution that allows delegates to simply scan into workshop rooms using their pass, with attendance time tracked automatically. This not only removes the need for manual sign-in sheets or barcode scans, but also provides organisers with clear, auditable reports on delegate engagement and compliance.
How It Works
Each delegate is issued a custom-printed RFID-enabled badge or pass upon arrival. These passes contain a unique UHF or HF chip linked to the delegate’s profile.
At the entrance to each workshop, breakout room, or CPD session, we deploy discreet RFID scanners either handheld or fixed, which capture each delegate’s entry (and optionally, exit) time.
This data is then automatically logged and made available through a reporting dashboard, providing:
- Entry and exit timestamps
- Total duration attended per session
- Session-by-session CPD logs
- Flags for under-attendance or missed workshops
Organisers can set minimum attendance thresholds and generate CPD certificates or audit reports instantly after the event.
