Overview
In February 2025, Formula 75 Live transformed The O2 into a high-energy, fast-turnaround production with just days to build, run the show, and break down. Working alongside Ginger Owl Productions, Access93 delivered a full accreditation and access control solution designed for speed, security, and flexibility.
Our Role
Using the GoAllAreas accreditation system, we supported the event with:
- 5,000 custom-printed, long-format laminates embedded with UHF RFID chips
- On-site badge printing and assignment to staff, crew, performers, and VIPs
- A complete mix of long-range RFID scanners and handheld validation devices deployed across the venue
- Day and night scanning teams to match the production’s fast-paced schedule
- Real-time integration with GoAllAreas for live zone control, access updates, and reporting
Every pass was printed, encoded, and assigned in real time—ensuring full traceability and access accuracy from the moment it was handed out.
Securing Critical Areas
Our scanning infrastructure gave organisers full control over access to sensitive spaces, including:
- Dressing rooms
- Red carpet entry
- Stage and backstage zones
- Crew-only build and strike areas
By combining fixed long-range scanners with mobile handheld units, we ensured that every individual was scanned and verified before entering key locations. Credentials were validated against access zone rules and time restrictions, helping prevent misused or outdated passes from slipping through.
