Access93 was proud to provide end-to-end crew scanning and access control services for BST Hyde Park 2025, supporting the site for 5 continuous weeks across three weekends of sold-out shows featuring:

Working in partnership with Ginger Owl Productions and the GoAllAreas accreditation platform, we deployed a secure, flexible scanning infrastructure to manage crew entry, track staff movement, prevent pass misuse, and streamline operations at every gate.
Objectives
- Increase scanning speed and reduce staff entry bottlenecks
- Maintain full visibility over staff and contractor movement
- Detect and prevent pass swapping or unauthorised entry
- Improve operational transparency across stakeholders
- Reduce food waste through accurate crew catering validation
Deployment & Innovation
- 15 handheld scanners were deployed across key staff gates and back-of-house areas
- 2 static staff check-in points for high-volume throughput
- 56,000+ scans processed across the entire event
- 2,500 crew scanned in a single hour during peak ingress using our Cube Fast Lane System
This year marked the preview of Access93’s Cube entry system – a fast-lane desktop scanner that processed credentials significantly faster than the Linea Pro handheld scanners used in 2024. The result? A 70% increase in entry speed, setting a new benchmark for high-throughput crew scanning at major events.
All handheld scanners provided by Access93 supported both QR and NFC scanning simultaneously, eliminating the need for separate lanes or changes in workflow – a critical advantage during live gate operations where speed, flexibility, and reliability matter most.

- Used alongside random ID checks to stop pass sharing and fraud attempts at the gate

Sustainability in Action
We also supported individual-level catering validation, ensuring each meal was tied to an accredited pass. This allowed organisers to accurately forecast meal volume and significantly reduce food waste across the event.
